Plastering is the process of covering rough walls and uneven surfaces in the construction of houses and other structures with a plastic material, called plaster or mortar. Sometimes, the terms ‘rendering’ is used instead of plastering when the plaster or cement is applied to the external surfaces of walls either to improve the appearance or to protect them from weather agencies, such as rain, heat, etc.
